Chinese by nationality, but born and raised in Italy, Jun Jie Yang earned her Master of Laws from Bocconi University with a thesis on Intellectual Property Law. She is admitted to practice law in Italy (Milan Bar Association).
She began her career in Beijing, advising on foreign investments and corporate affairs, particularly in the fast-evolving fields of e-commerce, internet, and IT.
Over the years, she has developed strong expertise in the areas of TMT, Data Protection, and commercial contracts. She has advised international and European clients across luxury, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, ICT and other industries, dealing with commercial matters while ensuring compliance with Italian and European law, with a focus on data protection, artificial intelligence, emerging technologies (e.g., NFT, IoT, affective computing, digital twin), internet, telecommunications, and media regulations.
She is currently an Associate at D’Andrea & Partners Legal Counsel, located in Shanghai.
