Event Recap | D’Andrea & Partners at the 2026 Generali China Human Resources Forum

On September 15, 2026, the 2026 Generali China Human Resources Forum (Shenyang), co-hosted by Generali China Liaoning Branch and the European Chamber of Commerce in China (Shenyang Chapter), was successfully held. The forum brought together HR leaders and corporate representatives from various industries to discuss pressing challenges and emerging trends in enterprise talent development, share cutting-edge management concepts and practical experience, and build a platform for cross-industry exchange.

The event opened with remarks by Ms. Hong Shi, Director of the Group Insurance Division at Generali China Liaoning Branch, who introduced the company’s operations, group insurance advantages, and commitment to public welfare, inviting all parties to jointly explore new paths for talent development.

D’Andrea & Partners Legal Counsel was honored to participate in the 2026 Generali China Human Resources Forum as the exclusive law firm. Mr. Aris Xie, Partner at D’Andrea & Partners, was invited to deliver a keynote speech titled “When the Silver Wave Meets AI: The Dual Transformation and Risk Management of HR Compliance.” Drawing on the latest regulations and judicial precedents, Mr. Xie examined the legal boundaries of employing workers beyond statutory retirement age and clarified how labor relationships are defined in such cases. He further explored the emerging compliance challenges brought about by AI-enabled workforce management, including algorithmic decision-making and data protection, and offered practical guidance on safeguarding personal information in HR operations under China’s evolving data regulatory framework. His presentation concluded with an actionable compliance roadmap for enterprises navigating the dual pressures of an aging workforce and rapid AI adoption, offering legal insights that are both forward-looking and immediately applicable to daily HR practice.

Other distinguished speakers included Ms. Wang Yuhua, Deputy General Manager of the Group Insurance Division at Generali China, who shared an analysis of employee benefits commercial insurance trends. The forum was brought to a close by Ms. Yu Dan, General Manager of the European Chamber Shenyang Chapter, who affirmed the Chamber’s continued role as a bridge for Sino-European economic and talent exchange. The forum covered core topics including employee benefits trends, AI reshaping HR management, and legal risk prevention for over-age employment — collectively exploring pathways toward high-quality human resources development.
