MedPons Launches in Nanjing, Bridging Global SMEs to China
On 27 October 2026, MedPons, the new platform of DP Group, officially opened its first one-stop shared services hub at Hengjiali International Integration Community, Hongshan New Town, Xuanwu District, Nanjing. Built for global SMEs, the platform delivers one-stop shared services for entering the Chinese market. Drawing on DP Group’s years of cross-border service expertise, MedPons connects the full chain of landing in China, helping overseas businesses seize opportunities in the Chinese market, integrate deeply into domestic industrial collaboration, and contribute to a new pattern of high-standard opening-up.
Grand Opening Ceremony
The grand opening brought together local government officials, Sino-Italian chamber leaders, corporate executives and industry specialists to witness the official launch of the MedPons Nanjing Hub.
The programme commenced with an on-site tour hosted by Mr. Ding Xiang, Chairman of Nanjing Derongwen Industrial Development Co., Ltd., who walked guests through the MedPons premises, introducing its international shared office space, multilingual service support, enterprise incubation system and comprehensive service matrix.
After the tour, guests took their seats and the official ceremony began.
Event Recap
Mr. Zhang Kaibin, Director of Hongshan Subdistrict, extended warm congratulations on MedPons’ settlement in Hongshan Subdistrict. He noted that Hongshan Subdistrict continues to optimise its international business environment and focus on cultivating modern service industry clusters. He expressed the expectation that the platform will fully leverage its value as a cross-border service hub, attract high-quality global SME resources, empower the quality upgrading of the region’s export-oriented economy, and promote the tangible landing of Sino-foreign industrial innovation.
Mr. Matteo Zhi, Co-founder of DP Group, shared the founding vision of MedPons. The platform serves global SMEs and has built a full-chain service capability covering space carriers, company setup, tax and compliance, cross-border logistics and localised brand operations. Leveraging DP Group’s global service network across Europe, Asia and the Middle East, and with the MedPons shared platform as its core hub, DP Group effectively lowers the entry barriers and trial-and-error costs for overseas enterprises entering the Chinese market, building a practical bridge for Sino-foreign economic and trade connectivity.
Mr. Luca Tosto, President of Confimi Industria Abruzzo, fully affirmed the practical value of MedPons. He analysed the compliance and localised operation challenges commonly faced by European SMEs expanding into the Chinese market, and expressed the expectation that the platform’s professional capabilities will help more Italian and European manufacturing enterprises connect with China’s vast domestic demand market.
Mr. Luigi Febo, Deputy Mayor of Chieti, shared his views on China-Europe cross-border industrial collaboration and SME innovation linkage. He highly recognised Nanjing’s strategic location advantages within Yangtze River Delta integration, and hoped that MedPons will become an economic and trade link between the two sides, facilitating more two-way industrial investment and tangible cooperation projects.
Following the speeches, distinguished representatives from government, business associations and enterprises jointly performed the unveiling ceremony for MedPons. The group then proceeded to the office area for the ribbon‑cutting, marking the official operation of the MedPons Nanjing Hub.
