SHANGHAI, MAY 13, 2014 – Mr. Carlo Diego D’Andrea, Managing Partner at D’Andrea & Partners Law Firm and Chair of the Legal and Competition Working Group of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, Shanghai Chapter took part as moderator in the event “Legal Representatives – Potential Risks and Legal Liability”, organized by the EUCCC in Shanghai, regarding the different types of legal liability that the executives of a company may encounter in China, including their own civil, administrative, tax and criminal liabilities. Mr. D’Andrea introduced the two speakers, Ms. Anne Severin, Partner at DS Advocate and Mr. Peter Law, Senior Manager – Tax Advisory at Mazars. During the debate the participants discussed about the tax changes that have been recently introduced in China, in particular they focused their attention on the update on the VAT reform, which will have a strong impact on the business in China.
