Senior Accountant

Job Description

• Accounting and bookkeeping, activities, preparation and issue of invoices, relevant Vietnamese taxes’ (applicable to corporate and individuals) periodical liquidation, declaration and payment.
• Assistance in the annual auditing procedures.
• Drafting and preparing memorandums and reports on Vietnamese tax system, business valuation, introduction to doing business in Vietnam.
• Preparing offers and service agreements and liaising with both existing prospective clients, as well as assisting with debit note (payments) collections.
• Attendance of meetings with both existing and prospective clients to provide advisory solutions or offer DP Group’s services.
• Assistance to the General Manager with the liaison with clients and prospective clients and completing other tasks as assigned.
• Assisting colleagues in the performance of the tasks i.e finalization of deliverables for the clients, review of the documents, coordination of internal activities and business development activities for PHC colleagues.
• Coordination of marketing & development activities, preparation of relevant materials such as articles on Vietnamese market, recording videos, participating in webinars, assisting with writing DP Practical Guides, participating in EuroCham Vietnam events, etc.
• Extending the client base, fostering reputation of the firm and increasing the engagement of the firm.
• Ensuring the quality of work within the team and establish trusted advisory relationships with key clients and other stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in economics, finance, or accounting with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• English language: full working proficiency.
• A meticulous working attitude, good communication skills and a sense of teamwork.
• Experience in working in foreign companies would be an advantage.
• CPA certification would be a strong plus.
• Preference would be given to candidates with experience in auditing.
• Knowledge of Chinese or Italian would be an advantage.
