After last year’s great success, IDI Italian Design Icons is returning for its Third Edition in Shanghai. The topic selected for IDI 3rd Edition is Design for Sustainability & Environment, in accordance with the topic of 2018 edition Italian Design Day in the world, as well as China’s ever-growing awareness on environmental protection.
A splendid collection of acclaimed top Italian brands, which have undoubtedly impacted the design of countless products from west to east and the lifestyle of millions around the world, together with IDI Italian Design Icons, we are here to celebrate the excellence of Italian design, embrace the sustainability of this new trend, and bring forward & share knowledge from various industries. This year, we have selected brands from lighting to furniture, vehicles to transportation, auxiliary equipment to industrial automation and robotics in order to show how our icons can address technology and where it meets design for sustainability & environment. Among our Icons are top Italian brands such as Ansaldo Breda, Comau, FNA, iGuzzini, Marposs, Moto Guzzi, Pirelli, Poltrona Frau, Vespa, and Inmotion (a member of Zapi Group), and another Italian Iconic brands. Apart from the exhibition, 3-days of lectures will be delivered by architects, designers, art directors, and KOL from top brands from all over the world, press conferences, and networking will make IDI Italian Design Icons 2018 an incomparable periodical event.
