DP GROUP: A Month of“Invest in Italy: The New Italian Visa for Investors”

Over the past few weeks in April, DP Group has successfully held our series of seminars “Invest in Italy: The New Italian Visa for Investors” in various major cities across China, beginning in the capital of Beijing, moving through the Southwest region in cities such as Chongqing and Chengdu and ultimately culminating our events in April, in our groups headquarters in Shanghai this week.

The speakers and guests of our seminars have been as varied and unique as the different cities in which they have held in and each event can attest to provide a different experience to the audience. Although, in saying that, with each and every seminar on the calender Mr. Matteo Zhi, D’Andrea & Partners’Legal Counsel attorney at law and DP Group Senior Partner, introduced to each set of audiences one of the Practical Guides which the Law Firm has published, Invest in Italy, freely distributed to all guests of each seminar and it is also important to mention that Mr. Arduino Agostinelli, Deputy GM of PHC Advisory Tax & Accounting, shared precious tips to audiences across the various Chinese cities about the tax benefits of investing in Italy with a special focus on  the hyper and super depreciation, government contribution to pay the interest for some loans and the tax credit for the training course about the skills requested by Industry 4.0 Today, we will share with you the honored guests and the various issues discussed across the month of April in “Invest in Italy: The New Italian Visa for Investors”.

First and foremost on April 12th, in China’s capital city of Beijing, at the Italian Embassy, the esteemed Ambassador of Italy in China Mr. Ettore Francesco Sequi, followed by the President of CICC Mr. Davide Cucino opened proceedings for the upcoming month of seminars.
Ms. Mi Rui – Director FDI Desk of ICE-ITA Italian Trade Agency Beijing Office explained to the audience why it’s the right time and place to invest in Italy now.

Consular Chancery and Visa First Secretary Mr. Eugenio Poti held a very useful speech focusing on the procedures to obtain the Italian visa for investors.

Mr. Stefano Lu Zhiwei, CEO of Daiqing Enterprise Management and former GM of Fediao Group, then shared with the Beijing attendees his company’s direct experience of investing in Italy.

Ms. Giulia Ziggiotti, AGIC Founder Member, closed the Beijing seminar with an interesting presentation about the communication and the promotion of Italy.

 

After the initial success of the Beijing seminar the next stop for DP Group was the southwest of the country, onwards to the mountain city of Chongqing on April 18th and then subsequently on to the home of the Giant Panda, Chengdu on April 19th, in the offices of the Consulate General of Italy in Chongqing and Zhongshuge Book Store respectively.

In Chongqing, the seminar had the honor to begin with the greetings of the Vice Consul General of Italy in Chongqing Mr. Davide Castellani and in Chengdu with the greetings of the Consul General of Italy in Chongqing Mr. Filippo Nicosia, both gentleman outlined to the attendees the importance of such initiatives of promoting foreign investments in Italy.

In the Chongqing seminar, Mr. Jiang Tao Director of Strategic Operations of East Shineray Holdings Co. Ltd. shared with us his company’s experience of investing in Italy, the unique benefits an Italian company holds, the different social and business customs between the two nations, as well as some similarities.

We once again welcomed the esteemed Mr. Davide Castellani to the stage in both southwest cities, in order to give a speech to provide useful information and to fully explain the new procedures in which to apply for the Italian visa for investors.

In Chengdu, Mr. Li Liu Hong, General Manager of TusHoldings, pointed out how the Sino-Italian Design Innovation Hub, established by Tsinghua University and the Politecnico di Milano, will help further promote bi-lateral co-operation between China and Italy in the fields of education, scientific research, culture and industry, as well as assisting both countries in their respective national development strategies, China’s “Made in China 2025” as well as Italy’s “Italian Industry 4.0”.

The final stop for DP Group’s seminars in April, was the international hub of Shanghai, DP Groups headquarters. On April 26th, in the House of Roosevelt, the seminar had the honour of being opened by the Consul General of Italy in Shanghai Stefano Beltrame, who highlighted the activities of some of the biggest and most important Italian companies in China in the past few years, followed by Vice President of CICC Shanghai Mr. Valtero Canepa and Deputy Director of ITA Shanghai Mrs. Michaela Soldini who showcased a mesmerizing video outlining Italy’s natural beauty.

In line with our previous seminars, the Vice Consul General of Italy in Shanghai, Mr. Bartolomeo Lamonarca outlined the means of which to obtain the Italian visa for investors to the Shanghai attendees.

We had the pleasure to welcome again, after Beijing, Mr. Lu Zhiwei, CEO of Daiqing Enterprise Management and former GM of Feidao Group, then gave a speech to explain his own personal experience of investing in Italy.
