In March 2026, the 16th Moot Shanghai International Invitational Commercial Arbitration Moot successfully concluded. As a globally recognized pre-moot for the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (Vis Moot), this year’s competition brought together 24 elite university teams from various countries and regions, including China, Singapore, Brazil, Russia, Mexico, and Switzerland.

In this competition, Equity Partner Mr. Matteo Zhi, Partner Mr. Aris Xie, Consultant Mr. Charles Xu, Senior Lawyer Mr. Landon He, Lawyer Ms. Junjie Yang, and Lawyer Ms. Jasmine Shi were invited to serve as arbitrators. They provided in-depth guidance to the participants across multiple dimensions, including legal logic, advocacy skills, mastery of case details, and on-site responsiveness, helping students enhance their professional capabilities through simulated practice.
The closing ceremony was successfully held. Mr. Carlo D’Andrea, Founding and Managing Partner of D’Andrea & Partners Legal Counsel, Vice President of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China (EUCCC) and Chairman of its Shanghai Chapter, was invited to attend as an award-presenting guest and presented honors to the winning teams.
