An intense month of events and webinars is about to conclude as D’Andrea & Partners Legal Counsel continues to showcase its caring and supportive attitude towards business needs in each country where its presence is marked.
On June 18th and 19th, Donatella Laureti from our Pescara Office held two webinars before an audience of Italian companies in order to share an introduction to both Free Trade Zones and the Foreign Direct Investments in China. The content of the webinars mainly focused on the opportunities such special investment areas grant to foreign companies while investing as well as vital investment suggestions when approaching the Chinese market.
On June 19th, Mandy Du from our Shanghai Office chaired an introduction of legal risk prevention and control for foreign-funded enterprises during COVID-19 in Haiyan Development Zone, in Zhejiang province at the presence of approximately 100 companies of the area.
On July 8th, Filippo Scaglia from our Hanoi Office in Hanoi participated in the seminar/webinar “The Smart Factories” organized in Ho Chi Minh City. His speech gave some higlights on the opportunities and challenges for companies relocating to Vietnam, especially in relation to the new Free Trade Agreement entering in force on the 1st of August 2020 between Vietnam and the European Union.
On July 9th, in cooperation with Fondazione Italia Cina, we held a webinar on the practical aspects connected to company reorganization after a pandemic crisis. Mr. Marco Bettin from Fondazione Italia Cina and the Consul General, Ms. Ludovica Murazzani, from the Italian Consulate in Shanghai opened the discussion and Matteo Zhi and Tommaso Colli (from our DP Group company PHC Tax & Accounting) from our Shanghai Office shared their practical legal and fiscal tips for companies in China now adapting to the new era post-COVID-19. Veronica Gianola also joined in on the discussion sharing her insights from our Office in Milan.
